UK Servers explained

Hi folks,

I never played on Bitefight UK servers, however I have been always curious about knowing the first and oldest server. Please shed some light on, your response is much appreciated!

Common sense tells me that it could be county 3: https://s3-en.bitefight.gameforge.com/user/highscore. However, other counties seem to have bigger/stronger characters which makes me think maybe they are the oldest counties/servers? Although that can't be a fact.

Also, what does County NV, LO, DK, SI and EE mean, are they like normal Bitefight servers, or speed servers?

Those are servers of communities that not longer exists but were merged into UK.
In the past Gameforge supported a few more languages than it does to this day, sometimes when Gameforge had to make the decision of shutting down a community if possible they would merge their servers with servers in other communities to at least allow the players to continue playing.

About your main question, I trully believe the oldest server of all BiteFight would be S6 on the DE community since *I believe* it was the first one created (someone correct my if I'm wrong, I was reaaally young when BF was born xD) on UK it would be S3 (of course on both cases S1 would be the original and first server but merges happened)

So to correctly understand NV, LO, DK, SI and EE were non-English communities, and then they all got merged into the county 20?

I understand and agree the idea of merging, however, how come the communities are merged so unproportionally? For example, County 20 has more servers than any others combined.

Please take this as something that I'm telling you on a personal level for what I understand, so nothing official by any means:

If Gameforge decided to shutdown a community that means the active amount of players was low. So the merge wouldn't have really a big impact on the active players but it would allow the players that are active to continue playing the game.

Also just because you see on all of them "Now County 20" doesn't really mean they all got merged there in the first place. Perhaps they were gradually merged on other servers that eventually got merged into S20-EN, I'm not sure what GF takes into consideration for merges, and while sometimes I don't fully agree, I know that they are the only ones who really have the numbers/data to decide what server should go where and why so while I don't have a clear reply to that, I'm sure if they all are there is for a reason, which one I don't know

You as an administrator of the game, are you able to forward your ideas/proposals, that are for the benefit of the players (e.g. merging servers, doing specific events, etc.), to Gameforge? I've been playing this game for around (if not more than) 10 years and never knew how the system works

We can (and do) forward ideas/proposals and not only our ideas but the ideas/suggestions proposed by the players, that's part of our job
Most of them to this day are recurrent suggestions like the merge of servers, the return of the Great Hunt, requests for new content, etc. I believe I have commented it in the past somewhere but Gameforge is well aware of what players are requesting because as I said, it is something recurrent that the Team reminds to Gameforge often.

Oh really? That's great! I wish Russian Administrators were the same. It seems that on Russian BF no voice is heard but instead they are giving warnings if you say something they do not like lol.
