Bitefight Lobby Password Reset for users who previously had Gameforge account but don't know the password

  • Hello Creatures of the Night!


    As you may very well known by now, we have implemented the new Lobby system so you can more easily manage all your accounts in one place.


    Whenever new things come, we need to adjust to them, this is in no way different.


    i will try to write simple, short guides whenever needed and when I see players stumble upon issues.


    This will be a short guide for players who previously had Gameforge accounts (if you played or tested any other Gameforge games that also have the Lobby system), but no longer remember the password.


    In order for you to access your accounts, if you do not know the password of that Gameforge account, all you need to do is:


    1. Head to this Lobby login page: https://lobby.bitefight.gameforge.com/en_GB/

    2. Press the "Forgotten your password" link

    3. In this step you do not need to enter you email adress in the field below, rather click the "reset password" button. See image attachment called "Two" for instructions.

    4. You will now be redirected to Gameforge.com website, where you will be able to reset your password using the email address registered to that specific Gameforge account. See image attachment called "Three".


    Follow the instructions, reset your password, and it will automatically log you into Bitefight lobby using that Gameforge account.

    From there, you can either enter the servers you play, start new ones, or you can connect all your Game accounts that use the same email address into that one Lobby account.

  • I had two accounts on the same server, and I tried to "connect them" but when I clicked to login, it just keeps logging me into my primary account. Doesn't even let me choose. This new change is terrible.

  • Gameforge is really good at complicating things... Wtf are u doing????? Cant access my account and your general system is thrash!!!! Who in the F is leading the programming or health of the game... Forum is thrash, game is not updated, and u dont listen to your playerbase (u only have them because of nostalgia or OG players) ... Can u for the love of god for once listen to your players and stop doing this stupid shit... Its 2023 and we think u can do something witha F-in BROWSER GAME!!!! WAKE UP!!!!!!

  • When i try to find my email for my vampire in Hungary server 5. Asking for my nickname in the game and password. Okay i know this but there is no server 5. How can i find my email like this? Im already write ticket but no answering.

  • I hear everyone's frustration with The Lobby. Believe me, as a Game Administrator I am frustrated too. I am also a player in the game and I have had difficulty with Lobby issues as well. The bottom line is this: The Lobby organizes by email. Your game "name" or game moniker means nothing to The Lobby. Only your email address and password which are the exact ones that are associated with your account will suffice. If you try to use another email that is not the email directly from your game account it won't find anything. In my case, the email is a very old email that is no longer viable. The Lobby found my account by this old email as that is the one I used when I first signed up for my account back in 2009. I still cannot verify my email for The Lobby as this old email no longer works. I still have to use it however because that is how The Lobby sees my account. Once The Lobby finds your account you will be able to change the email address and password to something more current. This however does not solve my problem with The Lobby still asking me to verify my old email address.


    Anyone who is using Google Chrome as your browser should be able to see your email and passwords for your accounts under Settings, then go to Password Manager. I am not as familiar with other browsers but I am sure they all have settings or password managers of some sort.


    I have also been told that some of the newer servers are still being integrated into The Lobby so if you have an account on the newer servers it may take an extra day before your accounts will be able to be accessed by The Lobby.


    This will take time for the issues to work out. Once they do, The Lobby will be an efficient way to log in to all of your accounts. Ideally, you should be able to organize all of your accounts under one email/Lobby account and access any of your game accounts at will.


    I cannot reiterate this enough: the email in question MUST BE THE ONE THAT YOU SIGNED UP WITH WHEN YOU CREATED YOUR ACCOUNT. The password must be the current password that is used when you sign into your account prior to the implementation of The Lobby.

    1. Not to mention that to have access to other servers to look at the rank, you need an account created for that... Was the company's real intention just to create inconvenience? hahahaha

    1. Good morning. The unbelievable happens to me on the Italian server. Let me explain, I created the Lobby and there are some accounts, the last ones but not those of server 10 and 23, the good thing is that the blue bar lights up telling me I have other accounts with the same email, I click but nothing and it lights up again new, reported to support 3 days ago, and I wait and hope it fixes.<img src="https://forum.bitefight.gameforge.com/images/smilies/emojione/2639.png" alt=":(" class="smiley" srcset="https://forum.bitefight.gameforge.com/images/smilies/emojione/2639@2x.png 2x" height="23" data-tooltip="sad" id="wscSmiley_0_0">
