a global server is necessary

  • Hi everyone,

Here in Brazil we received a new server in January, but unfortunately the player base is very small. The same players are active across multiple servers, and the population keeps decreasing over time.

We really need support to help repopulate the game in South America. I’ve seen players from Colombia and other countries facing the same issue.

One possible solution could be launching a unified South American server, bringing together players from Brazil, Colombia, and other countries. This could create a more active, competitive, and enjoyable environment for everyone.

BiteFight has a lot of potential, but without an active community the game slowly loses its appeal. We hope the team can consider strategies to revive and strengthen the game in our region.

    Thank you for your attention.

  • Brazil speaks Portuguese while most South American countries speak Spanish

It will create a conflict on which is the main language for the server.

It would be a great idea otherwise

They merged Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Norway, Denmark, and Slovenia in the past. We became an English-speaking community, however, back then the CoMa said they wouldn't mind if we spoke our native languages within clans.

Even today, after the second merge with the UK communities, some elder players communicate only via translators. Nordic players may not have had these issues, but the world was different back then in some parts of Europe that Slovenian and Baltic players come from.

  • In from South America but I think there should be a merge of server as an international server for all so we will have more content in general, as better fights, objectives and clans duels, in the uk server there are just 70 people lv 200+ and 70% of them are lv400+ so if you are new as me it is pretty difficult to find objectives and to play in the house of pain without being zeroed in 1 fight

  • if u think u playing on dead server let me send you mine, btw that 2nd on ranklist is banned cuz he used script, so 😁

I saw you say the same thing some time ago, and I though... poor guy. I don't know if that's funny or just sad - being literally the one and only active player on the whole server. Somewhat funny, but yeah...

Its even more sad by that fact - the fact that they see it and no1 is going to do anything about it 😃

  • Well yes, you right hahaha that surpasses sadness lv, anyway, they should promote the servers where are more people, there is not reason to keep those servers open just with 2 or 5 people playing, it will be more fair to join server into one and then more people could be interested if they notice there are a bunch or players still alive

  • Good evening, this has been discussed several times about 1-2 global servers or some mergers with other countries, but I don't see Gameforge being interested in this... it could do a lot if it had more people, but the lack of creative upgrades drove most people away.

  • I believe this is just a detail; I imagine the game's text is written using variables, and these variables may be based on the player's location, just like with the payment of Hellstones, and communication between players may occur as we are doing here.

It's great to hear about your practical experience. I knew some servers had experienced mergers, but I didn't know anyone who had gone through them. From what I've seen, your experience was good, right? Did it increase the competitiveness and activity of the servers?

I would really like this idea to be implemented; in fact, we need measures that make things easier for new players and old ones as well. By merging servers, activity increases, and it can even attract new players who learn from the more experienced ones, which is what happened to me.

From what I understand, there are dozens of servers spread across the region, and according to people, the number of active players is indeed around 20. With a globalization of servers, we could return to the great days.

Do you know where and how this was discussed with Game Forge? Just out of curiosity. The lack of staff could be solved by the community; I'm sure the community can provide skilled labor to improve and update the game.

At first we didn't like it. You see, the game back then (the first merge happened in 2014, and another in 2025) was very different. There was still quite a decent level of competitiveness on each server. We spoke our local languages, and every .si server was its own ecosystem, its own history with its own heroes and legends.

All of a sudden they decided, what turned out to be the first BF merge ever, to merge all .si servers together with completely unknown communities (nordic, baltic...). We were puzzled. For example, why wasn't .si merged with .ba (because of historical familiarity)? Or why weren't Norway and Denmark merged with Sweden, and so on? There was a lot of uncertainty, but in the end people just got used to it.

The second merge last year wasn't that strange, but it was very unbalanced. We used to play in a relatively balanced community... vamps and wolves, wars, etc. Sometimes the balance of power shifted a bit toward the wolves, sometimes toward the vampires. There was no clear winner.

But when I checked all the servers that were supposed to merge with us... the situation was terrible. Literally. Out of about eight servers, there wasn't even one, not a single one, where wolves dominated. Even worse, on the strongest servers it looked like all the top 30 players were vampires grouped together, opening gates every few weeks with zero competition.

So after the merge, there wasn't a single player capable of joining us in the dominating werewolf clan, while there is an entire army of vampires joined together. Because of that, we can basically forget about real competition in the foreseeable future.

Yes, we fight and we struggle, but it often feels more or less futile. Every time a wolf quits the game, it matters, because there are so few of us.

Even worse, if one or two of the wolves who are still holding things together quit the game, I'm pretty sure all the competitiveness will disappear again.

Vampires have always been a more popular character in mainstream culture, and that is reflected in the game as well. There are servers where a smaller group of wolves dominates, but in general too many players want to be vampires, which makes the communities very unbalanced.

The merging of servers can have a positive effect for some time, but don't expect miracles. If you're not big enough, the major clans won't accept you, because with all the multi-accounts (which are allowed on merged servers since players have accounts spread across multiple servers) they can never be sure you aren't just a spy. All the smaller clans died out long ago, so finding a new home is quite a challenge. Even as a top dog on one server, you might end up just average after the merge, and so on...

  • I perfectly understand the planned problems; in fact, I realized that racial domination frequently occurs in other regions, and that's a real problem. I believe that server merges should occur to balance the server; there should be some way to measure the number of players between servers. Thinking about a merge, somehow the players from the lower server could be there for a certain period of time, and after that, a merge could occur, or simply a new server could be started, leaving a conflict. Opening a new global or regional server would attract new and old players, but I understand that this is utopian; these are ideas that should work on paper. And this topic can remain just a rant from a player who lived through the game's good times :/
