Talent deployment

  • Hello guys,

I am a relatively beginner and I do my research about the Talents. I put all my talent points into Damage talents(without any hit chance). Unfortunately, as there are few players on the server, it is very hard to experiment in the fights, so I am asking more experienced players if this is something that Talents should be deployed or if I should include that hit chance option as well. Thanks :)

  • Without the hit chance, your damage can only cause so much.

Your basic is 25%. The more percentage you have, the more hits you get. The normal hits are 6 per round depending on the level, so if your hit chance is at minimum, you might not even get any hits, and your high damage is meaningless. Try to balance and study your attack report to determine how much you need to increase the chance and hit chance.

I hope that this is helpful enough.

  • Regarding your question, there isn't a universal rule. However, if you decide to go the -hit route, make sure to pick every -hit talent available. Mixing a little of this and a little of that doesn't work well with -hit where you need to reduce your opponent's hit chance to 25% (the lowest possible).

(Note: This doesn't apply to equipment, as you still need to make some damage.)

-Hit is a powerful weapon, but not effective on every stage of the game. As you progress, there will be levels where players have excellent -hit equipment, and others where they have great +hit/damage equipment that can easily counter the available -hit. At higher levels, with fewer opponents, players will even switch between pieces to adapt to individual opponents.

+hit, on the other hand, works best when combined with +damage. If your gameplay base on +damage/+bonus damage, you will also need a decent amount of +hit most of the time.

The more you progress, the less relevant talents become (with a few exceptions, such as extra attack), as equipment will outgrow them by several factors. Talents will, of course, still provide some little extra.

Here are a few hints that came to mind which you might find helpful:

    • While you're leveling up, you'll unlock talents progressively. Don't worry too much about making a wrong pick - once you reach the required levels to unlock all talents, you'll likely reset them all from scratch at least once. Over time, you'll discover what works for you. Resetting talents is inexpensive.
    • With a few exceptions, prioritize Passive talents. Some Active talents are still a must, but the majority base on Passive effects that work every round.
    • Always Choose "Extra Hit" talents to get extra +attack
    • At least at the beginning, something like +6 damage will often be more effective for a new player than +12 bonus damage, as bonuses depend heavily on both your attributes and your opponent's attributes.
    • When you reach Victory Rush (at level 230) and The Great Feast (at level 300), these talents are a must for long successful life

    Happy New Year! :)
