Türkiye is a beautiful country in the global world, didn't you like it?

I agree, Turkey is a beautiful country full of kind, hospitable people, no objection to that, just your behavior kind of sucks.

First of all, I would like to thank you all for sharing your opinions. However, please remember that it is not necessary to be disrespectful or use offensive language in order to express your point of view. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and it should always be shared in a constructive and respectful way.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... but who, apart from the "you can all go f*** yourselves, I'll do what I want" attitude guy, was disrespectful and used offensive language at all?

If anything, people tried to kindly explain to him what's not a cool thing to do, only to get more of that shitty attitude in return.

And why were the screenshots in the OP removed? It was a screenshot of the forum front page - a completely public page.

So basically, nothing new. The whole front page will continue to be flooded with the same garbage over and over again by two or three individuals.

I regret that you don't recognize disruptive behavior that ruins other people's experience with this forum and instead choose to tolerate spam and shitposting over the legitimate interests of the forum and the game.

I guess per advice the only option is to give in to the mass spam "terrorists", completely ignore the in-game forum button, and save the direct "News and Announcements" URL to completely skip the rest of the forum - including technical help, guides, and tutorials where people could help and contribute - just to avoid the rest of that spam crap.

Can't you just be reasonable and mature when discussing with others? And aim for quality over quantity? It's a forum, meant for discussion, not your private war zone.

Or, since you come from the Turkish community, could you just spam the .tr part of the forums instead of every single one?

You see, I'm really trying to reason with you...

No one is demanding that you stop posting, just that you be reasonable when doing it. Like I said, a forum is supposed to be a place where different threads and voices can be seen and heard, not a place dominated by one person posting endless spam.

Like I said, if you don't like it, don't use the forum.I

But I like the forum and discussing with people. You see, I have "only" a bit over 60 posts, but each one of them is well argued and part of a discussion where I express opinions about certain aspects of the game, respond to players seeking help, and so on... while you have over 5,000 zero-value spam posts.

You're not contributing anything - you're killing this forum.

And when players try to explain that to you in the most harmless way possible, you act like an offended child. Why can't you actually discuss things the way forums are intended to be used?

    1000% agree with that

My aim is to keep the forum alive, forum games are available in all gameforge games. If you don't like it, don't log in to the forum.

I have a bit of an issue with that, because you're not keeping the forum alive but killing it.

    You may wonder why.

It's because every time a new discussion appears, you flood the whole forum front page with this spam nonsense, so that everyone who opens the forum to check if there's something new sees only your spam on the whole front page instead of new discussions.

It completely buries other people's topics and discourages anyone from even trying to start a conversation.

A forum is supposed to be a place where different threads and voices can be seen and heard, not a place dominated by one person posting endlessly. What you're doing doesn't add value - it just creates noise and pushes everything else out of sight.

You're completely out of control, and it's starting to have the opposite effect of what you probably intend.

Can you tone it down a bit and maybe keep dragging those spam threads in one community instead of every single one? That would prevent the front page from being constantly flooded by your spam posts.

Right now, it feels like every spam section is being overwhelmed, and it makes it hard to see new or genuine discussions.

When posting my post above, I haven't seen your response posted around the same time as mine, that's why there are two posts in a row now :P

Please try to include more information or share a different point of view.

On account of getting more or less useless gifts, players get fewer of the standard Purple and Dark Blue Gifts.

Having the whole front page spammed with useless boxes means that, within regular gameplay, you just scroll down more.

It's not like 4 useless potions (they should be discontinued from this game anyway - what does an extra "Man hunt: gold and booty x2" or "+10 defence potion" do for a level 50 player, let alone a level 3000 player?), 1 or 2 elixirs (mostly the same as potions, apart from one or two, useless), 6 hellstones, and some health potions (that most players don't even need) collected over a few days change anything.

Just so I don't have to scroll down so much every day while playing this game, I burn/delete most of those boxes (apart from the standard Purple and Dark Blue Gifts) immediately. Honestly, they're just a nuisance.

Some players who don't do missions but focus on story may find health boxes useful, but it's not like the few collected during 5 days of playing grotto (and not story) will affect their gameplay in any way.

Even ordinary, just ordinary, XP Boost and Gold Boost events are better than this event.

I don't think all the disappointment from players is caused by this event itself. If it appeared randomly throughout the year, no one would bother with it.

It's just that players had some expectations based on previous years, and now they got... this!

Even the Christmas event was slightly weaker (it didn't have the standard -60% Gold Cost Attributes) compared to previous years, but okay... while this New Year's event isn't even on par with the regular yearly events.

Unfortunately, it is not in the hands of Mika and the administrators to change what gameforge schedules, the only thing that they can do is reach out to gameforge

Of course it's in Mika's hands. He's not a volunteer game or forum staff, but a Gameforge Community Manager, employee responsible for Bitefight. He represents Gameforge here.

But really, as stupid useless as this event is - and yes, it's even worse than the regular XP Boost / Gold Boost events, because apart from your front page being spammed with useless gift boxes that only mean more scrolling unless you delete those "gifts" as soon as possible, at least you have the last days of the holidays free of game. You don't waste your time, you don't waste your money, nothing. A completely neutral, useless event that does not require any extra playing time. How's this bad? :)

Ok, this highly anticipated event officially sucks. Spend all saved points and go to bed. Business as usual. 🙂

On the bright side, I won't need to waste my time on that game over the next five days, so it's not all doom and gloom.

    Quote

    +200% XP in Man Hunt.

    +200% Gold in Man Hunt.

LOL, whoever got that idea.... good trolling! 🙂

    ؟؟؟؟

    Maeve

Please run the New Year's event along with the current event.

Mika and mag.psmtr are the guys you want to tag. Or alternatively, just enjoy holidays free of the game. Burn those 180 or whatever points daily and take the day off.

Event sucks but it's not all that bad, it really isn't. 🙂

Blue gifts can be cool, but only if you actually get something worth from them. Vampires, at the same time, got more experience per click, more gold per click, and (not in the latest event, but the one before) they also got cheaper merchant inventory on top of the Vampires event bonuses.

Wolves, on the other hand, only get their health tripled at the same time Vampires had theirs doubled. So, unlike in the normal event, this Wolves event (if we put blue gifts aside) is actually even weaker than ordinary werewolf event, lol.

Unlike vampires before I won't progress faster thanks to combined event, I won't collect more gold thanks to combined event, I won't buy cheaper equipment, the only little plus from those two events is that I'll save some of my stocked blue gifts instead of spending them during the Wolves event, because I'll be getting new through regular gameplay here.

No extra gold in the Grotto, no -60% attributes, no discounted items at the Merchant and just the +50% experience in the Grotto that is available to vampires too :)))

And I have no clue why there's +100% maximum health for both vampires and wolves that it devalues the health point ratio from the Wolves event.

Before, one race had 100 points and the other had 200 (1:2 ratio). Now it's 200 vs 300 (2:3 ratio) - so this event gives fewer health points compared to the other race than a normal Wolves or Vamps event.

Not that it's important, since extra health is pretty much useless except in wars and stories, but this Werewolf event gives even fewer health points compared to the other race than a normal Werewolf event. :)

    So much about compensation :)

First of all, I see it as a positive that the unequal treatment has been acknowledged by those responsible. Whether compensation truly covers the disadvantages in full is something I don't want to judge. I don't think a one-to-one balance is possible either. One race or the other will probably emerge from this with a slight advantage. The main thing for me is that something like this doesn't happen again without feedbackin the future. And if it does, it should be corrected promptly.

    This!

I also think it's hard to provide 100% equal compensation and someone will be unhappy either way. That's why I said that a blue box drop that gives 19 AP is good enough for me, even if I don't get exactly the same experience per click or something similar. Because it will give me at least chance to compete.

My main gripe, and probably the main gripe of many others that escalated into a wider outburst, is that this has been going on for a long time, longer than just the last three examples I mentioned above, without anyone addressing it.

Just remember how many times Maeve said "I've reported the issue" or something along those lines and honestly, she was probably just doing what she could within her limits.

However, I can take any kind of mockery and disrespect towards me, until I earn the opposite, but I'm super sensitive when it comes to team members :)

Don't worry, we blame for everything just you :P

Volunteer forum and game staff, who have no influence over these matters and simply act as a relay between players and Gameforge managers, are far too often under fire from frustrated players - as if it's their fault. I would never blame them for anything GF related. I can only thank them for what they do. That goes for Maeve, for mag.psmtr, and for everyone who invests their free time to make the player experience better.

Furthermore, I know this is not an option for all players, but all of you here use hellstones - if you noticed the event was running for a longer duration for vampires, you could have changed your race and benefited just the same. Which is what some did do, but they still complain.

That's the same failed argument Bite-Mom gave yesterday, and what you two basically saying is:

If you play a vampire character, all those event bonuses come for free. But if you play a werewolf, you have option pay extra money to benefit from the same mistakes Gameforge constantly makes in favor of vampire players, ergo even those who paid to switch the race complain fully justified. They needed to pay to enjoy same benefits as vamps without paying.

So why are you even mentioning this? We know our options, but requirement to pay extra to benefit from the situation others get for free don't make things any more right. I didn't pay to switch sides, but the players who did have every right to complain as well.

Anyway, I’m glad that we finally got a real response to the issues. Let’s see how things play out...

Mika told that GF cant give us 100%gold and double AP from gift. So will you take progress from vampires by rollback? if not there will be still one race(vampires) in advantage.

I didn't understand this part clearly. No 19 AP from blue gifts?

Then that's more or less a "meh..." solution, as that was the biggest advantage vampires got from the last event. You click, activate some elixirs, spend some old blue gifts, and then that's it for the day. Meanwhile, vampires were clicking endlessly for hours and hours, as every spent blue gift produced 19 AP, which, through clicks, created new blue gifts, and so on...

How does Full Moon + extra 50% XP solve the problem? Since vampires had 150% XP + double AB.

Simple math suggests that this isn't a problem because werewolves had other events available as well, but things aren't that simple due to the blue gifts and 19 APs, which, through endless clicking, exponentially maximized those other extras you mentioned.

You're right, this event was stronger than the Christmas and New Year's events, but if we get "blue gifts and 19 APs from blue gifts" at least part of the wrongdoing can be addressed. I think we can live with that.
